this is great but what about us guys with the keypads on the regular cabs? no back seats (aint nobody got time for that!!)

I have a FX4 reg cab, I guess its somewhat rare, as I dont see many around, hell I dont see many regular cabs that arent a XL 2wd white fleet looking trucks

Good question.. If there is no thread about it.... Create one.. That way if someone else needs it then it will be available... They'll even throw a sticky on it

Does Ford really not keep track of this via the VIN?? There really isn't a number I can call and verify all my info and have them give me the code?! I only ask because I failed at this today, tried for an hour and even after guiding with my finger I couldn't get the seat off that latch. I'll try again but it's ridiculous that they can't just tell us the code

Try pushing the seat down from the top while pressing the latch. Then raise it.
It cost me a lot of effort the first times, now it's easy.

If they went through the effort of putting the original hidden on a box I'd figure they would keep record of it also. You never truly erase the original code. I'm just saying, have VIN, log number!!

It popped out effortlessly after I gave it a good nudge on the top, thanks!
