I have the code in my manual can I just get the door handle that has the keypad in it and put it in? The wiring is already there?

did this yesterday and got my code and programed my new code > thanks !!!! I'm like a kid with a new toy I use the key pad every chance I get now LOL even told the wife the code so she can play too. THANK YOU FOR THIS POST !!!

Very helpful video man. I bought my Used 08 FX4 two weeks ago from the dealership and before I left the lot I asked the salesman what the code was for the door. He says "Oh that is in the owners manual". So I get home and look in the manual and everywhere inside the case the manual comes in and surprise, no code. After calling the dealership and feeding me some BS on how they are going to call the previous owner to find it out and call me back. Never got the call back so I found this thread and within 20 minutes or so I had the factory code (witch I wrote in the owners manual) and I put my own personal code in.
