That is how long it took for me to back over the mailbox in my driveway.

Busted the passenger side tail light, dented body just below taillight and scraped the bed from the rear to just in front of the wheel well.

Have to have the entire side of the bed repainted.

$862.85 to correct.

If it makes you feel any better, I had my truck for about 2 months when I decided to use the underground parking garage at work (which is almost big enough for a Smart to park in). Second day I'm in the garage I cut a corner too close and ended up with bright orange paint (they tried to mark the corner) and a nice long dent from just in front of the passenger tail light to just behind where the fender meets the cab. $700 later it looked fine, and I learned a lesson. Funny thing was, I was using the garage to save money over an outside lot. Kind of a false economy as it turned out. I don't park in the garage anymore.

Sorry to hear about your truck. I feel your pain.

Would beer have any support in this damage?

No beer involved.

Just stupidity. Looked in the mirrors and thought I was backing up straight using only the rearview mirror and actually was angling towards the side of the driveway.
