Default 2.5" Lift + Leveling

Just a quick question; actually two!

First, did they reset the usernames or something on this forum? I had to resign up, albeit it's been quite a while since I've posted here, but was just curious.

Second, I have a F150 2wd std cab and want to do two things to it.
#1 Level it
#2 Lift it up about 2.5 inches.

Question is, do the lift kits automatically level it as well as lift it? Or am I looking at two seperate mods here and do I need to purchase both a lift kit and leveling kit?

Thanks in advance!

Lifting and leveling itare 2 different things. A leveling kit is gonna cost WAY less than a lift kit and a lift kit will obviously give you the off-road look. A leveling kit is mainly to bring up the front of the truck to make it level with the rear.

Yeah, I do want to bring up the front with the rear, but was also considering lifting it another 2-3". If I was to only level it, would that give me enough room to put 33's on it? Or would I need to add the additional lift to it as well?

If you were to add a 2" or 2.5" leveling kit you could fit the 33's. Sounds like to me though you're looking for more than just leveling it though, sounds like you want to do a full suspension lift. If you can't afford a full suspension lift alot of guys go with a leveling kit and then a 3" body lift.

Ok, thanks. That actually answers a third question, and that is, can I lift after I level.

Thanks guys, I asked these same questions at AutoZone and they couldn't answer them.

Why do people say they have a "quick" question? What would it be quicker than? Are they so afraid to waste other people's time with their queries that they feel the need to sell it as "quick"?

Default Lift vs level

They sell a lift kit that raises the front 4 1/2inch and the rear 2inch. Check out www.performancecenter.com
