2.5" leveling kit from HBS and how will this affect my truck.
So I've been doing a lot of reading before I ordered this and it seemed to be the best for what I was looking to do. I've seen all different opinions and a lot of talk over how this will wear out my ball joints etc. Does anyone run this kit or a hbs leveling kit and can give me a real answer on there experience?
Truck is a 2004 F-150 4.6L V8 Reg cab with 8 foot box, 235/70r17 tires.
Thanks for the inputs.

I had hbs on my other 06 I used to on and had it own for 10k miles before I had to get rid of the truck, and I never knew the kit was on it never gave me problems and didn't affect the ride. It was a scab 4x4

I have an 08 reg cab long bed and I have 1.5" autospring leveling kit on the front of my truck for about 20k miles. I have yet have any issues with it. I like the way it looks because it is still a little higher in the rear but it is almost completely level when I put a load in the bed or hook up to a trailer. The ride is the same as it was stock.

Only problem for your 2WD would be ball joints and tie rod end wearing out a tad bit faster than normal... this is due to the greater angle the spacer will put on your joints..
Nothing to write home about !! On a 4WD you would have the CV shaft angles to worry about.

Great to hear!! That's what i thought but some people were saying other parts would break or wear out faster. I read about the ball joints and tie rod ends wearing out but they said it wouldn't a lot faster then normal. My truck has 60k miles on it so its not very wore yet. My hope is in the next year or so, put a skyjacker 3 inch lift on her so leveling kit is a temp for now.

My 08 FX4 with 68K miles has had a 2.5" level since new...no problems at all...I inspect everything every 5K during tire rotation ...everything is nice and tight still.
