Default 2.5 level kit which tires

yes i have started another tread on this
i have a 05 xlt 4x4 3.73 gears
2.5 inch level kit
17x8.5 with +25 offset mb tko backspace is 5.73 with firestone at's 255/70r17 just put up for sale
can i run a 285/75/17=34x11.5x17 or a 295/70/17=33.5x12x17
no rubbing and no cutting anything
stock rims 17x7.5 +44offset =5.98 backspace
i have read a lot of guys on here running a 35x12.5 on stock rims and having to add a 1/4 inch spacer

mounted currently on the rims are 255/70/17 oem size, plus minus the center cap i have the center cap from the mb chaos rim which is imo a lot better looking with exposed black lug nuts

Those tires look nice. May get some 285-70-17 cooper discovery at3s soon.

anyone out there running 34's?
everyone talks about 33 and 35's, and that wheel fitment tread is wrong that factory offset for 17 and18's is 6 inch backspacing and you guys are running factory rims and 35'5 with a 1/4 wheel spacer which then in turn would be 5.75 inches of backspace , unless anyone can tell me different

There are a lot of dudes on here running factory rims and 35s. But a 295/70 on a factory rim should be around 34 inches and you should be good without the wheel spacer.

I had 295/70/18's on a level with stock rims and I had no rubbing. I believe the tire comes to 34.2

Also the dudes that are running wheels spacers generally have a "35x12.50" but there are a TON of tires that claim those dimensions but are closer to 13" wide due to the sidewall, or that is the closest high flotation measurement.

so i scraped the whole idea due to back order issues with toyo at2's.
i have done some searching and i am going to an 18x9 mb tko +25 offset=6 inch backspace and paired up with a set of 275/70/18 cooper s/t maxx tires
33.39x11.1x18 spec size
