I got my truck about 3 weeks ago and added the 2.5" leveling kit and 325/65/18 last week. Had to trim a little plastic but not much.

The trimming part isn't bad, I just wish I'd gotten some 9" wheels. I don't like the bubbled out look on my 8.5's.

What kind of back space? I'm told if I run 17x8.5 with 6" of back space with 295/70's they will rub.
