Here's mine with that size. Will be going with a little bigger next time. Probably the 295/70/17.

I'm running that size without a kit and it's borderline too small to me.

The 295x70x17's would fill up the wheelwell's better.

Why are you considering 285s instead of 295s?

It was just a thought. I now understand that the 70 is actually part of the ratio and not an actual measurement.

70 is the height. 285 is the width.

Right, 70 is the height. but a 285/70 and a 295/70 are different heights correct?

A 285x70 is a 32.7 and a 295x70 is 33.5 although the MT's look larger then the AT's in the same size.
