Default 2", 2.5" or 3"?

08 F150 XLT SuperCrew 4x4

As many before, I would like to level the front and put new tires...

There is a 3” difference between the ground and the fender in the front vs. back.

1) What is the better levelling kit - 2”, 2.5” or 3” ??? I hear 3” are hard on ball bearings, is it a myth?

2) Based on the chosen levelling kit, what tire size will proportionately fill best the fender area on a 17” rim?

2"=33's 2.5"=35's, or vise versa. whatever you want, you can do with a little trimming or without.

I have the 2.5". IMO the 2" is too small and the 3" is too big and it does in fact put a lot of stress on the truck.
