Ugh, Dorman or Hollander, both brands I shy away from. I like Motorcraft or Moog, but some will disagree with me.

Moog is better... spend the extra money.

1aauto is a great site in general, for some parts. I have a set of mirrors that were dirt cheap, and better than original IMO.

For the "big stuff" - suspension, driveline, etc, stick with a reputable brand.

Moog is the best in the business.

Moog is awesome. I wouldn't trust Dorman to do anything right.

I bought some cheap type parts from them for my last truck and I think some headlights that to my surprise actually held up but something about them with major parts scares me. Check out Rock Auto and stick with good brands.

The site does not actually say they are Doorman or Hollander parts. It says it replaces those part numbers from those manufacturers. I don't think it actually says what brand they are.

I have had a good experience with 1A Auto but I prefer to stick with top brands for those kinds of parts and to buy locally for ease of warranty. Anything ordered usually needs to be shipped back at your expense for warranty.

I wouldn't trust any sites that don't declare the manufactures.

Weird that it doesn't say who makes it.

I'm in Vancouver too and have a few awesome parts guys at Ford and aftermarket. Hit me up on PM and I can refer you to a few people. I've got suspension guys... mechanics, electricians, tire guys... the whole works.
