I'm considering changing my t-stat to a 180 from the original 195; however, I am curious if anyone ran into any emissions concerns from doing this, mostly a check engine light. After all, one reason they're running 195's is for reducing certain exhaust emissions.

There are certainly benefits from running a cooler stat, I'm just curious if anyone has seen negatives.... Also, if running mods, have they done anything unusual from doing this?

I don't think I should expect anything by doing this, but thought I'd ask and wait a day or two before installing it.
