17" rims
I tried to search this one out but I want to change out my 22" rims for some 17s but when I look online everyone has 18" and up. Will 17"s with 5.5" BS and 6X135mm lug spacing fit? These are the ones I'm looking at http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...ck&tmn=Shotgun Thanks for your help in advance

I just have to find something with less weight and crome. My truck is a black FX4 and has 22" crome wheels/tire that weigh 118lbs each. I'm not a crome guy and love the look of the non glossy black or machine finished wheels. I'm hoping to get a combo somewhere in the 90lbs range and I love the fat sidewall off road look.

This is what I have, 17x9 Pro Comp 8179s. No clue what they weigh. At some point I want to do away w/ the chrome center caps or paint them black. The wheels would look better in flat instead of gloss black too.

17x9 ATX Artillery w/teflon coating
These are mine, 4.5" backspace, 6x135, clear the calipers just fine. 1 piece aluminum means not too heavy...

Love the blue on black wheels... the machined lip is just enough to make people do a double take. Where did you get them from?
gwilliams38 - how are your tires off road? I hear those pro comps are great on road and in the snow but what about in the soft dirt and mud?

I can tell you just by looking at the tread up close that they do not have any "mud tire" in them... should be just fine on any somewhat moist trail though with a good LSD in the back. If you are worried at all about mud and need streetable then get one of the less aggressive mud tires IMO. Don't waste time with all-terrains.
BTW: I have only had two other sets of 35" tires in my life, Dunlop Mud Rovers and the aforementioned BFGs. No problem balancing either of those sets (though neither were on an independent front suspension - not sure if that is a factor with the shimmy...). If these Pro Comps don't balance better after a few thousand miles and another try then I may not stick with Pro Comps for the next set.
