Default 1500 Bilstein or Strut Spacer?

Cant decide on what to go with for leveling my truck. Either 1500 Bilstein or 2.5 inch strut spacer. Any suggestions?

I would suggest bllls, spacers are just going to disappoint you with the angle of the upper control arms and make you wish you would have gotten the bills.M/O

So what is the difference in between a spacer for a 2 inch level and bilsteins set at the 2 inch level?
How does it differ the angle of the control arm from one to the other?

I'm not that familiar with Bilsteins other then a lot of people talk about them, but I put level spacers on my factory struts and think they're fine. I have no issues with my UCA's hitting my struts. Yes they're closer but it hasn't caused an issue.

The angle will be the same with a strut spacer or a bilstein.

Agreed, that was my point. Trying to figure out why someone would think it's different?

If you are looking for a strut, Pro Comp's Pro Runner SS and Rancho's QuickLIFT are both still available. If you want to wait for the Billies to be off back order, more power to you. I've got a little while before I make the purchase, but I'm thinking the Pro Comps or Ranchos will be the way to go for me. They seem to be welded better. I've also heard, however, that the Billies only break at the welds when people get air, or abuse the shock.

The choice is yours. Skyjacker makes a leveling strut, as well. The issue that I find with it is that you can only set it to 2" or 3".

I've found spacers that have an "offset" mounting point that pulls the coil away from the UCA. I believe Auto Spring makes them, and there's a company called Heavy Metal that makes them.
