Default Is 140,000 miles to much?

I'm going to look at a truck and it has 140,000 miles on it, it's been maintained and he has all service records, is 140,00 too much I know these trucks last long but how long do they last if it's religiously maintained.

Today I'm at 204,000 miles and not a single problem with the truck. Never have had a problem. Always replace or change fluids on time. Best truck I've ever owned. Have had it for 7 1/2 years. It's a 06 f 150 5.4 l.

I'm at 295k. No major problems other than the random misfire thing. Turned out to be plugs and coils. Piece of cake. Love this rig.

I wouldn't buy one with 140k miles but I'd drive mine way past that point because I know I did all the maintenance and driving.

If it wasn't rusted, the motor was quiet, and it shifted right I'd be all over it

I just brought one with 291K on it for 3k. It still runs, but I plan on putting a new engine in it next year. The current engine has the phasser knock. The only reason why I brought it because I think 3k is a deal.

We had a 5.4 05 f150 super cab that was a farm truck and it went to 320,000 miles before the first issue. (Transmission went out )

I sure hope that's not to much as I'm almost 10k miles away.

These trucks are easily good to 300k with proper maintenance. And even then it's usually cheaper to put a new engine/tranny and maybe replace an axle rather then buy a new truck.
