Default 12v Key On Power in Traction Control Harness

My '08 Lariat doesn't have traction control, so the harness is plugged into the dummy connector on back of the cigar lighter/reverse sensing panel. Before I rip that sucker out and get the multimeter, does anyone know if 12v keyed power is available in the T/C plug?

Yes it does. Its the red yellow wire at pin 1. Its only 5amp fuse so you will prob need to add a relay to drive what ever you are trying to run.

Thanks! I'm trying to wire up an electric transmission temp gauge, and need 12V for the sender. Do you think 5amps will be sufficient?
