I have a coworker who runs his mouth about his Chevy. I really am not a huge brand preference guy but would like to stick him in his place if I can.
I own a 05 Lariat SCREW 4wd 5.4.
He has a Chevy SCREW 4wd 5.3.
I have been doing some searching but haven't come up with any good 1/4 numbers.
Any predictions on outcome of a race (bias aside). I don't want to give in and get beat.

Well I know my truck could out my freinds chevy when my truck was stock but we was at a drag strip so it was all legal. I would advise going 2 a dragstrip and racing and not street racing.

You must be running some sort of forced induction to get those times though...think the OP has a stock truck.
Personally I wouldn't race him per say, I would challenge him to a 5000 lb tow test with a rpm ceiling of 2.5k rpms and see who wins the quarter.

he wasnt trying. Good friends dad is part owner of Edson Chrysler dodge. Ive played with both his reg cab and quad cab and unless you have some forced induction or a bigger crate motor it wouldnt happen. I lined up with his quad pulling a car hauler and he still whooped me bad lol. It was baaaad lol. These trucks lack power. Its frustrating at times. Thus why i moved to sledding to fix the need for speed
