Exclamation 0mm offset, 18x9, wheels with 35x12.5 tires, no rubbing, and no lift. HOW?!

Hey everyone, hope you're all doing well. I am so close to purchasing new wheels and tires for my 04 FX4 SCREW (2.5" level), but I've hit a snag. All of the wheels I was interested in only come in 0mm offset or 5" BS. I've been planning this purchase under the notion that all of these wheels were viable possibilities. I've seen them on at least 15 different trucks on different forums. People who know, told me I need 5.5 or 5.71 otherwise it'll rub and everything will suck. So my question, which continues to go unanswered, is how did all of these other guys pull it off? I can't reach most of them. They seemed to have fallen off the face of the earth. For the ones I have spoken to, they all say there are no problems or they just trimmed an area and all is well. Help, help, help!

Below is my truck. Tell me what I need to trim in order to fit a 0mm, 18x9 wheel, with 35" tires without rubbing.

Thanks in advance,
Anthony

Default wheel and tire fit

This thread has been the most helpful for me on this issue: https://www.f150forum.com/f4/tire-wh...04-08-a-24510/. There are page after page of people asking the same type of question, and recieving accurate and thorough responses. Hopefully you will find what you are looking for there. There are always options to make it work. Good luck.

Even the Rancho 4" is setup for 6" BS on a 9 inch wheel to fit 35x12.50s. Realistically you're probably looking at needing a 6" to keep from hitting the rear bottom of your front fender with 5" BS.

go to Centerline wheels website, buy overstocks for short money, get the offset you need. I have 6 inch offset and 8.5 inch wheels on a stock truck

well you'll be fine in the front, you'll just have to trim a bit off the back of the wheel well.

The rear bottom of the front fender being the part closest to the door or closest to the headlights?

Closer to the door. I think your bumper takes care of any forward clearance issues.

yeah you're fine for the bumper trimming because you have an aftermarket bumper but you might still have to trim the inside of the fender in the back. you're a member on f150online right? ask i believe his name is Blackoutfx4 or something. he has a leveling kit 35's and 22in. monsters that have 5in. BS i believe. he could tell you what all you have to trim.
