My neighbor just bought an 08 4x4 with 107,000 miles and he's having problems.When he stops at a light it starts ticking and shaking.As soon as you give it gas it goes away.It only does it after it is warmed up. Any ideas???

try cleaning the MAF and throttle body

also check the FPDM above the spare tire for corrosion.

Could be dirty VCT solenoids. Is the tick coming from one side of the motor or both?
