I want a oem hitch for my 08'f150. I don't like how the aftermarket ones hang down... Now I found a bumper with a hitch off a 05 . I don't think the bumper will fit but Idc if I take the hitch off the o5 bumper will it fit my 08 ?!
If not where can I find a oem hitch that will fit ? I've tried junk yards, craigslist , eBay and online can't find one! Don't tell me to go to ford lol I'm not paying 500 for a hitch lol. Any help is much appreciated ! Thanks !

I'm pretty sure the hitch will transfer over, but I don't know for sure, ford might use different bumpers for the ones with and without hitches...Look at both and see if there are any differences.

I put an OEM hitch on my 07 with one from the same year and it bolted right up after I took the rebar out of the bumper. I think there were 2 different style bumpers though 04-05 and 06-08 so where the hitch may bolt to the frame it may not bolt to the bumper.
