Well I am now removing the heads as they are the early model of 2008 and I'm glad I tried installing the plugs before I continued. It appears that either RockAuto or ATK, the rebuilder, put the wrong heads in the crates, they came from TX where ATK is, when they shipped them. The numbers on the crates say they are the ones I ordered but they are actually the early model year heads. I went so far as to check the casting numbers, as you should when I order them..... Working on my patience here!!!! So I am getting practice wrenching on my engine. Waiting to hear from ATK for them to set up a pick up of these heads and a shipping of my correct heads. I'll have them ready for pick up in the morning tomorrow. Think I am going to push for an overnight delivery on their dime as I have a job in Scottsdale I need to get to. I'm in western Colorado. I should have checked closer on these heads...... I sure will when I get the next set! Will keep everyone advised as to my progress. Redfishtd, I truly appreciate all your assistance, I have been and will continue to verify the installation of parts, should have been more vigilant at checking these heads though. Crud! I would have had her up and running tomorrow, oh well.......
