Go buy a coil or a pack of accel coils for what you would pay a shop, then change them all... $230 will get you 8 new accel coils.

You could just buy one and swap it around a few times until you find your bad coil... I would highly recommend you fix this one yourself if you can... I'm not sure there is a good way to test a coil that technically hasn't completely failed...maybe someone else knows a way...

Have you had good luck with the Accel coils? I've read mixed reviews. I recently had one of my OEM coils go bad and bought two new OEMs so I would have a spare. However, I can get an entire set (8) of Accel coils on Amazon for less than the cost of 6 more OEM coils. I was thinking of going that route and then using the 2 new coils I already have as spares.

I've heard they are better replacements then the china coils.. I haven't even installed mine yet... I'm waiting to do the plugs, and coils next month... I put 2 duralast ones in my dads truck and I'm running a duralast one now with no issues for over a year..
