Default 07 Keyless Entry Doorpad, no power

A few weeks ago, out of the blue for no reason, my doorpad stoped working completely. Doesn;t even light up. Is there a fuse for this? Anyone had a similar problem?

Check your owners manual...for fuse location...the box is in the passenger side kick panel.

I'll guess you don't have an owners manual....go here for a free PDF version:

I checked the manual, wasn't a fuse description that specifically said it fed the pad. So I don't really know where to start.

Next step is to check the wiring. The wiring passes through the inner door jamb via the rubber tube. At the very least you'll need a probe and/or a volt/ohm meter.

You'll also need to know which wire carries the power and ground to the door handle security lock. This can be obtained from a good factory schematic type book.

Default dead keyless entry

I have the same problem. Can't find the fuse for the keyless on the manual list. No other electrical problems to tie it to in order to narrow down the fuse location. Mirror works, window works...hate to take the door panel off but what other choice do I have?
