I have an edge evolution programmer with 35 mudgrapplers. I run it on performance n its bad! I have the 5.4l. I have a coworkers wants to race me in his stock 2011 gmc sierra 1500 big v8. I can spin mine without powerbraking. Yal think I can take him? I also have gotts mod n kn filter.

Hell no. Even if you had stock tires, his 6.2L would leave you a long way behind. They run close to the Ecoboost in straight acceleration. Even with the 5.3L he will still win.

Sorry to say but ^ he's right. Your truck on stock size tires with no lift would give the 5.3 a run but not the 6.2.

mSaLL150 is speaking truth! My friends 05 Silverado with the 5.3 used to smoke my old FX4 no prob. The newer Chev with a 6.2L, your feeling would get hurt. Our F150 are solid trucks for hauling/towing but don't mistake them for good speed drag racers.

You said big v8. They have a 4.8,5.3,and 6.2. The 6.2 is over 400hp but doesn't really run like it too me. My dads bully dog tuned 5.3 cc sb 2wd will spank my buddies 6.2 cc sb 4x4 *** with no problem. And my sct tuned ex cab fx4 feel faster than my dads truck so I really don't think it's to much of a long shot to out run him except you have big tires compared to his stock

Well I have a full custom tune and intake and all the normal mods! Plus a little more! I can keep up with stock GT mustangs on a roll!

Well I cant get traction off the line unless in 4wd! I dont like launching in 4wd unless in dirt! I know I can beat them if I hook and grab but thats hart for me to do! Oh and Im sure my mustang would kick your 250s butt in a flash!
