Default 07-08 Wiring Diagram Request

My wiring diagrams are based off of my 06, and I'm considering switching out head units to gain the line in from the 07-08 while retaining Sirius (which rules out the FRD04-AUX for me). Does someone have the radio wiring diagrams from 07 or 08 that show what changes on the 16 pin to facilitate the line in?

Also, can someone confirm that the Sirius ESN is in the module and not the Head unit?

TIA

truck is an 08 Screw I am still have the popping in my sub problem. where are the grounds and any connections located for the headunit and sub amp if any besides on the units themselves. Like I said before when the sub is out and shook there isnt a pop it only happends while driving. The connections seem good on the back of radio but the large ones clips were broke but was plugged in when I pulled it out and when wiggled didnt produce a pop

The sub harness has an intermediate connector in the driver's kickpanel where it picks up the power circuits.

This doesn't directly answer your question, but when looking at the 04-06, part of the reason you need the FRD04 is that it needs to convert the signal from the RCA inputs into CAN-BUS protocol for the head unit (if it was as simple as wiring pinouts then I would have just hacked up a custom RCA harness). So, I'd imagine on the 07/08's that they've added the CAN-BUS conversion into the head unit along with any wiring changes. Without a better understanding of how you're planning to put it together then I'm not sure this really impacts you, but it's food for thought.

That's what I was thinking, so as long as it hasn't changed for Sat and the canbus for Sirius is still in the module, I may be able to swap head units to 07-08, and just correct the wiring myself.

gatorb8 you may have already done this, but check the torrents. I downloaded an awesome ford service program for the 05/06 years. It has all fords and mercurys of 05/06. I use it everytime i work on my truck and print out the schematics as I need them and keep them in a binder. not sure if something similar is available for the more recent years.

I can't exactly remember why, but I had problems getting it to run the first time too. I found it works best with Alchol120%. Best part is alchol120% doesn't even need to be running in the taskbar. you actually start the program to mount the iso, but you can then close the program, and even reboot, and the image stayed mounted. so I leave it there. and access it on a weekly basis.

Remember you have to set your computer's date back to July 15, 2005 to run it, but don't forget to set the date back after your done, or your outgoing emails look like they were sent 5 years ago.
