06 Rear axles HARD to rotate without brakes on
Please correct me if I'm wrong, but shouldn't I be able to rotate the rear wheels with the truck jacked up rotors and calipers off?
I am in the process of doing a brake job. I tried beating the rotors off, no luck. I had to resort to using the old brake pads and 2 bolts in the caliper mounts to force them off. Now I can't rotate the axles without the tires on and a lot of force. The trans is in park but the axles should still turn one handed right? They should turn opposite directions. If I put it in neutral they turn and when I run it and put them in drive and reverse they work fine.
Am I just brain farting here?
Thanks

If you have posi-trac it'll be hard to turn the axles in park.
