06 payload question
hey guys, i have an 06 f150 xlt 5.4 with the towing package 4x2 flareside. I was wondering how much weight i can put in the bed of my truck. im looking to put a fourwheeler in there that weighs around 850lbs do you think that will be ok or will i overload it? also is the space between the fenderwells the same on a styleside vs a flareside? any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

I agree with the first part, the 4 wheeler will be fine. But I'm pretty sure he doesn't have 3000lb payload on an FX2. He should check the tag or window sticker if he has it and see which payload package the truck has. More than likely it's around 1800lbs. Which still is much more than his 4 wheeler.

That 4wheeler will be no issues. I have had the bed of the truck full of lanscape rock and the rear was just starting to squat.

thanks guys. i was mainly worried bout it fitting in the bed since it is a flareside. it did fit just fine and only squatted slightly. it was a tight fit though the tires on the fourwheeler somwhat rubbed going in took two shots to make it through without any problem. haha
