06 F150 problems! maybe you can help
Okay, so my 06 f150 lariat 5.4 hahs 160 hard miles on it
here's my problems... drivers front seat has ripped on the edge and feels like the foam is gone.. i can feel the metal frame
where is the best place to buy foam/cover.. or a entire seat bottom... it's black leather
how do I know what color it is to match it up? the upholstery guy here wanted like 500 bucks to repair it and patch it
2nd problem is my rear sliding glass window few months ago i posted about the leak didn't get too much infomation https://www.f150forum.com/f4/2006-f1...w-leak-323199/
I went ahead and replaced the weather stripping around the window.. but if i hold a water hose onto the back window it still pours in... can someone confirm this isn't right..? i think it has some sort of drain...
also can someone post pictures of their weather stripping inside and out.. so i can see if they have the gaps like i got in the previous topic?
i haven't heard anymore watch sloshing in cab.. so i'm not 100% sure if it stopped leaking i know i can put a hose in the back window and it pours in
3rd problem is it's time for a new fan clutch.. as mine isn't working all that well giving me high AC pressures...
now when i'm looking for one i see two options.. what is reverse rotation and do i need it
Reverse Rotation
Severe Duty
Thermal Fan Clutch
option 2
Thermal Fan Clutch
With Air Conditioning

Seat problem check salvage yards.
revers rotation water pump and fan clutch if your engine is equipped with a serpentine belt where the water pump is driven from the backside of the belt it turns the opposite direction and requires a reverse direction fan clutch some engines were equipped with "V" belts or serpentine belts depending on year and application.

So on on the 5.4's a reverse rotation fan clutch is correct

Not sure just start it up if the fan is turning opposite to engine its reverse also if the water pump pulley is smooth not ribbed it is reverse rotation.

Any time you have a question on a parts "correctness (i.e. reverse fan clutch), visit your local Ford parts department and give them your VIN; they will look it up (for free), and tell you what is correct.
