Default 06 F-150-Coolant Change Question

I'm getting ready to change my coolant, noticed that there is a nipple to attach a drain tube next to the drain plug on the radiator so coolant can be drained into a pan . Anyone know what size of hose to use to fit over this nipple? Thanks

When i changed my coolant and thermostat about 2 months ago, i just used a water supply hose from a washing machine. I just cut the end off and slipped it over the drain port.

I personally don't like using the drain ports on radiators. If it's never been opened, chances are it may leak forever. Happened to me before. I just pull off the lower hose now. Yes it's a mess, but at least I know it won't leak.

Thanks Guys. I've already loosened the radiator drain plug to check it,so I'll be OK there (opened really easy) . I'm just going to get several samples of hose (fuel/vac) and try to see which one fits. I'll let you know what I find out.
