I am going to do the exhaust on my 06 F150 soon and was hoping someone on here could give me some advice. I was planning on leaving all 4 of the stock cats on and running dual with out mufflers. But I was told this is very quiet. Just wondering if anyone else's has done this or any other suggestions like maybe removing 2 cats or all of them? But I don't know how that would effect fuel mileage? Any help would be great thanks

I have it. It's not as loud as I wanted but sounds good.

What size of pipe do you have?

If you have 06, you should only have two cats. I left mine in place and added a dynomax bullet muffler, bumped piping to 3 inch from stock 2.5. Will link my thread shortly and it is fairly loud, but not overly loud. 04-05 have four cats.

I have duals without mufflers. I love it. Its loud when you want it to be but doesnt drone bad at all on the interstate.
