first one is a XL i dont think they made a XLT without chrome bumpers, i would definately go with the STX then

See that's kinda what I was thinking. On paper the 06 looks like the better deal (newer, bigger engine, leather seats), but from the pictures it looks very boring and plain. I can't describe it any other way.

well thwe only difference i really see is the engine and painted bumpers, unless you want or need the big motor i would go with the STX, i love mine the 4.6 is rock solid, the 5.4 has a few issues...

Oh, and I don't know if this matters or not, but I am going to be driving the snot out of it. I have a 60 mile round trip to work each day almost all highway.

Plus 05's are notorious for having tranny problems

now that i see the pics, the gray one definitely looks better, didnt know the white one was an 06. But if you are really going for durability, and reliability, go with the 06.

im not saying your wrong just havent heard much about it, ford has always had good tranny's in my opinion
