Default 05 vs 06

Hey Everyone,

I am looking at purchasing an F150. I have two different ones that I am looking at and would like to hear your thoughts on which to buy.

2005 Ford F-150 STX SuperCab
Grey
Cloth Seats
4x4
98,000 miles
4.6L v8
Edge Tuner Installed
Only 1 hour away
$9,995

--or--

2006 Ford F-150 SuperCab
White
Leather Seats
4x4
107,000 miles
5.4L v8
3 hours away
$9,999

I personally like the grey color better as the white just looks a little plain to me. Also, I really don't like the idea of driving 3 hours away for a truck but I will if I have to. On the other hand, the 06 is newer (but has more miles), has leather seats, and a larger engine.

I don't plan on hauling a bunch of really heavy stuff. A couple times a year I plan on hauling some fertilizer and mulch and some cabinets, plywood, 2x4, etc. Maybe once every 2 years I might pull a 2 horse trailer a short distance. Other than that, it will pretty much be used as a daily driver.

Thanks!
Jeremy

another question...how big is the bed? if you intend to go with some hauling at anytime, nice to have a little extra room to work with.
