There's a few versions. Which one are you looking at? Is it supercharged?

52000 miles sliver black and silver 2 tone interior very clean truck. they want 18 for it. but i just read on a previous post that only stage 3 came with a roush charger so??? its about 200 miels from me but the dealership says its supecharged so im not positive. heard of some ppl getting the roush number and vin and calling straight to roush to see if its legit so i dunno??? has all roush parts tho hood color matched bumper pedals wheels etcc.. so im confuserd ha i guess i gotta just go check this weekend

I would call Roush and confirm the vin and what options it came with. They are very helpful. I spent an hour on the phone with their Engineer, trying to figure out my no boost problem.

I would try to talk them down a little on the price. Mine is an 06 with brand new bottom end and I did not pay that much.

It's entirely possible that someone added a Roushcharger to it. It is true about the stage 3's coming with the blower. If it does have one try to find out the details on who did the install and at what mileage. Pay attention to how the trans behaves when you test drive it. Look forward to hearing more.

i put one in from scratch on my '06 5.4 when brand new. have had minimum problems but i believe that this aftermarket stuff, even as well engineered as roush, creates problems under the hood, making other components fail early. iam pretty sure of this , from my experience...just sold the truck with 36,000 miles cause it was costing me way too much for a well cared for truck.

On the other hand, the 5.4 triton is pretty much a pig without it and it COMPLETELY changed the character of the truck...for the better.

Been SC'd for 36,000 miles. Lost a trans because of improper tuning but other than that no early failures.
