Default 05' F150 Supercab rear door speakers

Hello Everyone,
I need some tech. assistance on removing the rear door panel or grill to get at and replace the rear door speakers in my 05 F150 supercab. the front door speakers were a breeze, but I can't seem to figure out the rear doors. I started in on them but the fear of busting all the clips and panel didn't make me feel to comfortable. Please help! 2005 F150 FX4 Supercab (extended cab). Thank you in advance.

i did it in my 04, so i dont see why they would be different, but all you have to do is-
pull the top pieces of the door off that surrounds the window, pull the piece that has the window switch off and disconnect the switch, in the door handle there is a little cover pop that off too.
where the window switch is there is a 10mm bolt that holds the middle door panel to the door take it out(the 10mm bolt), remove the 2 bolts in the handle, the bolts in the top of the door panel and then 1 bolt under the storage bin, after that the door will slide up and out just as long as you removed that 10mm bolt....when you put all back together the only trouble youll have is getting the handle realigned and its not that hard to do just make sure that the pegs on the handle that stradle the door latch it took me like 3 tries to do it but its easy

if you still have trouble ill try to get some pics of the process. if you know what your doing then it takes not even a total of 5 mins to disassemble and reassemble

gool luck

Default Rear door removal

I'll tell ya, I just removed the rear door panels to change out the speakers and I had the most trouble with the clip that is at the top of the wider window trip piece. That clip that needs to slide on sideways was a b*t*h to try and get back on. I did suceed and now I have awsome sound in my truck with the MB Quart speakers I installed. The other issue I had was that Ford really didn't leave much wire in there to connect to the new speakers. I had to splice in some extra wire to make it to the contacts on the new speakers.
I also needed to buy a new socket set as I didn't own a 7/32" socket but really, who doesn't mind buying new tools!!

Default F150 Door Panel Removal

Thanks you guys for the info here. I just replaced my stockers with Kicker KS 680's all around. Picked up a kicker ZX 250.4 to power them but have not done that part as yet.
