Default 05' F150 Lariat 5.4L PCV Valve

Does anyone have any good links or information about the 05' PCV. There are only a couple of spots on the top of the valve covers that oil could be blowing out. VCT seals and PCV. The ford dealer had no helpful info. He just said they don't go bad and are built into the valve cover. I thought that was weird because 04' and 06' both have em. any help would be appreciated.

Hello there. Well I can tell you that you weren't being lied to. The 5.4 3V tritons do not have a serviceable PCV valve like the predecessor 5.4 2V does. It is a built in structure to the valve cover. I've heard of people who would backwash a cleaner (such as Brakleen) through the fitting in the valve cover, but I truthfully don't suggest that. If you were really adamant on cleaning it, you would have to remove the cover and clean it out, or, replace the valve cover.

Yeah, no serviceable PCV valve(s). I did clean the snot out of mine when I had the covers off to do the timing.
You could also be leaking oil around the oil filler neck, an o-ring would fix that.
The part number for the VCT seals is 3L3Z-6C535-AA.
