05 f150 hesitation at complete stop

Sounds similar to my issue. Throttle from a stop I get little response, see the the RPM increase with no increase in speed for a split second, get a loud thud and then RPM drop and i'm off. I also get a thud when coming to stop occasionally. I've read it might be the slip yoke issue. Still investigating.

interesting, first person to bring that up. I still have not had my issue fixed

My bet was it was a bad torque convertor after hearing it had been rebuilt.
