05 F150 drive train clunk

Default 05 F150 drive train clunk

I have 2005 F- 150 2wd lariat. When I make a right turn from a stop and accelerate I hear a clunk sounds like some where in the drive train. All imput greatly appreciated. Thanks. Bob.

I had the same problem with my 04 4x2 screw. After researching the issue, I think it is caused by the driveshaft slip yoke.I installed a 2" rear drop shackle kit and this cured the problem for me.I assume the change in pinion angle had something to do with it. I have also read that you can remove the driveshaft, slip shaft boot and grease the shaft .
