05' f-150 5.4l
I have an 05' 5.4L F-150XLT with 145,000 miles. I've noticed a tapping noise coming from the rear of engine. I've had the valves checked and within specs. I was told that the 5.4L has 3 lifters per valve and that 1 of the lifters has a problem of not working after the 100,000 mark. Is there any truth and if so what can do to quiet noise?
