04 Overhead DVD Rail System/ Prewired?
I need to know if my truck is prewired for the Dvd player before I cut into the headliner. I bought a OEM DVD player that was removed when new from a concept vehicle. No instructions of course were with it. How can I be sure that my truck is prewired or not? It has the 6-disc cd. My dealer is not being helpful, go figure! Any help would be greatly appreciated. If your sticker did not specify rear entertainment system prep package.....No,you do not have the harness. You do not have to cut the head liner. The harness is taped/attached near the cutout for the rail package box with the map lights.

I found a place with the harness for $110+shipping. Very nice guy. It's brandmotion.com. They were very helpful and answered all my questions. Thanks for the replies.

Okay just saw this
I have the 2004 f150 fx4 it has the rear system underneath the seat and the 6 disc CD I believe. Now is the wiring harness taped inside the hole under the first Bin? Wil that haeness reach the DVD player or do I have to get an extension for it?
