I have a 2004 Supercrew FX4 with the 5.4L engine. I have had it since it was new and from the very beginning it has had a throttle delay. I read on here that a programmer fixes the problem. I got a Superchip Microtuner 1715 and programmed it to "performance" mode. It did not entirely remove the delay and it is shifting hard now. I know there are different settings for shift points. Does anyone have any recommendations? Does anyone know better programming options for this programmer?
