'04 FX4 S-cab rear speaker problem
Hey guys and gals,
I bought my truck used this past summer. While playing with the stock stereo, I noticed that when I put the sound all the way to the REAR speakers I get no noise, ZERO! So I have had to put the sound fully to the Front speakers. What do y'all think? speakers blown? wiring messed up? stereo broken? I just need some opinions so I know where to start.
Thanks!

pull off the doors and check the speakers, shouldnt take more than 20 mins to get both off, check them and see if there blown, see if there hooked up right, etc

If it's aftermakret HU and speakers is more than likely a loose wire. Mine have done this a few times but soldering the wires helped and then the ground came loose on one of the speakers but that was a simple fix.
Is this an aftermarket system?

Speaker prob.
Took a good look at it today and found that the rear speakers come on after playing with the volume **** on the radio then go off again .. I think it's in the radio it self.
