Default #6 misfire just cant seem to fix it need help!!!

Alright guys im new to the site and own a 2005 f250 with the 5.4 3v triton engine and its running a bit rough...i put the scanner to it and its telling me p0306 wich its the #6 Cylinder so this is what ive done so far...i changed all the spark plugs and manage to not break a single one by the way my truck has 79,000 miles ok now i changed the #6 coil and fuel injector and still no fix...has anyone out there expirienced this problem???and what was the fix i cant afford to take it to the shop at the moment.

Have you cleared the codes and it comes back? May want to check crankshaft position sensor and run continuity checks on the wiring from the PCM to the coil.

Last resort is the PCM.

A shop with the right scan tool can read the firing order as the PCM manages it.. The waveform can be read and alot of things can be sorted out with that information.

Hook up your coil to a spark tester and check spark. I had an outboard with the same issue and it turn out to be a ECU. If spark checks out test compression on that cylinder. Of all that fails swap the coil and plug on the cylinder with the code to the other side. I know you just changed all those parts but I have found out the hard that new parts can be DOA.

I feel for you. Seems like you've addressed all the things that would cause a missfire. on that cylinder. Does make sense to swap the coil and injector to another cylinder just to see if it creates a code for the new location. Then you likely did purchase a bad part. This does seem unlikely though.
