04 Ford F150
I have an 04 F150 with 238k miles. I have the 4.6 and it seems to have a noisy timing chain. It runs great but at low idle it sounds like the chain maybe slapping the cover. Anyone else have these issues?

Moved from "Introductions to "2004-2008." Do you happen to have a recording of the sound? Do you know the maintenance history?

iv got the same issue 04 140000 on the dash. i am doing the timing chain and phasers next week. i can hear my chain rattle and shake and it sounds like i can hear a broke chunk of the plastic guide in their. after it warms up the sound is less frequent. its that random rattle that scares the **** out of me.
