04 f150 xlt 5.4
2004 F150 XLT 5.4 I have replaced all plugs and same two coils #2, #5. Coils #2 and #5 keep faulting out and sending check engine light. Replaced them three times and they give check engine code within one day. Truck is missing while accelerating and has a weird idle where RPMs rev. while sitting.
Beyond confused... local mechanic told me to just drive it after they replaced coil #2, and #5 twice.
Frustrated and tired of the trouble with this truck and about outa money.. any ideas are appreciated.

what brand plugs and COP's are you installing ??

Have you checked the fuel injectors for those cylinders or the plug connections and wires for the COPs. Has your mechanic done any other checks or just thrown the same parts at it and hoped for the best?
