The kit with the lockouts and tuner is $429.99. The tuner will disable the VCT so you don't get a CEL, and also will get back some of the power caused by locking it out.

Rick,

Thank you for your response

I have been looking at your lockout kit for about a week now

1: if I chose to go with the full lockout then the current phazer(may be broken) does not have to be replaced, because it essentially will be a locked cam gear. That is my understanding.

1.5: is the power loss that substantial in the lockout kit that its worth purchasing new motorcraft phazer and installing your kit? The truck is a cruiser not a racer, but I do get on it once and awhile. Website says 20-30 hp loss at top end?

2:My concern is if I chose to just re-install a crappy dorman one and just go with your limiter kit there would be a possibility that the issue could come back? Correct?

3:Would I be able to incorporate a custom tune (towing tune) with the tune that disables the VCT? For an additional charge maybe or included in that price?

Thank you again good sir!

Andy
