Default 04 F150 power windows not working

This has been a problem all winter and decided to fix a few things. The driver side passenger seat wasn't working so I did some research online about a wire that corroded apart on the passenger side near the fire wall, and sure enough it was corroded apart. Fixed it and seat works, but was hoping it would also fix my windows. It did not.

So I heard about broken wires in the drivers side door and took the door panel apart and quickly looked at the wires by pulling back the boot between the door. I can't find a broken wire. I tested the ground and that seems OK, but no power is going to the windows switch. I checked the 401 breaker fuse with a multimeter and it seems to conduct, and there is power going to the socket for this breaker.

I had to roll up some windows so I just jump the power temporarily to roll up the windows. I have no idea where to attack next to find the problem. If someone could help direct me to a known trouble spot that would be a big help.

If you can jump the window motor with a battery and it goes up and you also have power at your switch, the next step would be cleaning or replacing your master switch on the drivers door.

There's no power going to switch, just ground.

Trace that wire back to its power source using a test lamp or meter. Google for a wiring schematic for your year truck to help identify connector points, or just buy a factory wiring book, about 30 bucks or less on eBay.

Found the problem. A blue wire that was cut between the door. Fixed it, and windows work again.
