Hi guys, the other day when I came home from work my truck started to knock pretty bad, I couldn't tell weather I still had oil pressure or not because my oil pressure gauge was already messed up, the next day I started it just for about a minute and it ran quiet as always so I installed an aftermarket oil pressure gauge and tried again. Started and ran fine with the oil pressure at about 60psi, once it got to operating temperature the oil pressure dropped off to 0psi followed by more noise,
With a stethascope it seemed to be noisiest inside the passenger side timing chain cover and most of the codes that came up were related to the passenger side cam timing.
My geuss is the chain tensioner has let go, anyone have any ideas?
