I was driving the other day and the orange wrench came on and i dont remember the exact code but it had something to do with throttle and cleaning the throttle body the more I think about it I'm pretty sure it was the tps code that came up and i parked started the truck back up after the appt and it was gone.

Now today I was driving and my transfault light came on and my edge programmer gives me p0733 or p7033 Either way it says incorrect 3rd gear ratio.

Should I clean by throttle body before buying a new tbs sensor and see how that does?

yeah absolutely, go through troubleshooting before you go out and pay the money. Unless you want to just go blow the money and save any hassle or work.

Make sure you use a cleaner that is suitable for coated throttle plates/bodies. Normal carb cleaner will ruin your throttlebody. Definitely would start with that as stated above.
