What was the original symptom? Have you checked your oil pressure? Low oil pressure can break a phaser.
Now when you watch are both not changing time or is one working correctly?

mine is doing EXACTLY what his is doing....exactly....as for OP, always had it and still does...when it does it's "diesel" thing, it has never dropped below 40psi....but, when the sensors are doing their thing, EVERYTHING drops off to zeros....adv. and ret. both....ya rev it and everything comes back, until it drops below 800rpm, then "diesel" again

I replaced phasers, tensioners and all again 300 miles ago. Just started knocking again this weekend. P0022, p0345 p0305. 2nd set of Dorman phasers in under 4000 miles, autoparts is ordering another set in, but my question is what do I do? Should these be failing so fast? I did some research and found that aparently these Dorman parts are junk, but can't believe there this bad. Any ideas? What to do, what to check? I've tried posting on here on a different thread with no response, any and all advice is appreciated, thanks.

Have you check oil pressure? You may have low oil pressure causing the phasers to break.

Checked at hot idle. 25 psi with a manual gauge. When it's running, the gauge is constantly bouncing though, +-5 lbs. Once it starts to knock which is only when hot, it drops to around 20. Speed up over 1200 Rpm, idles fine
