It seems if I drive it 20 mins or so at highway speeds, then let off like to get off a exit ramp while its idling down, once I try to get back on it, it runs horribly then. I can give it full throttle, and it clears up after a few seconds. I hafta feed my kid, then I think I'm gunna take it on the exact ride I did first time it acted up with the scanner plugged in and watch to see if it acts up again. Now with all that unplugged, if it continues to run right, would I be right to replace the other cam solenoid and sensors?

Update. I drove it today, exact same trip I took it on before that it acted up, did not act up a bit. I went for another long ride that it would have acted up before, and still no problems with the solenoids and sensors unplugged

Currently still running fine. Since the sensors were unplugged, occasionally it will shut off after I start it then shift into gear. Starts right back up, runs fine. I'm not sure what to do there, but am I correct in saying, if I replace the other cam solenoid and sensors It should run good?

Not necessarily, try to run with cam sensors connected. Then follow up. I would like to see how it runs with solenoids not connected and sensors connected.

I tried the unplug the cam sensors and solenoids trick on mine...no change. Then, last night after work, I plugged in the Modis and watched what the cam sensors were doing....seemed to be operating as normal, got up to temp. and started to "diesel“, sensor data went to zeros across the board....wtf??....then revved it, got numbers back, then "diesel", zeros.....I'm beginning to think maybe, just maybe, the PCM is toast....it's like it loses it's place and gives up.

I have my cam sensors plugged in, truck seems to run better. Hasn't shut off at idle, no drivability issues
