04 5.4l rough idle after plug change.
hey y'all i just changed my plugs after 115k miles. it was a huge PITA but the lisle tool came to my rescue. any who, i did NOT replace any COPs when i changed the plugs, and i feel as if they may be the culprit of my slightly rough idle. heres the scenario:
ill fire up the truck and when the rpms drop down to around 6-700 it pops, not loudly, just enough to be annoying.
and when i accelerate in park slowly it'll pop and sound like its missing all the way to about 1500 rpm.
doesn't have any problems while driving it drives great. days like this i really wish i wasn't a car guy, because i notice every little thing wrong with my truck
does anyone think replacing my COPs would solve the issue I'm having?

without a DTC hard to tell... you could try new boots and springs with dielectric grease.
